Backtrack 5 R3 - Netifera

N etifera is a new modular open source platform for creating network security tools.

  

This project offers many advantages for developers and security researchers who wish to apply new tools, as well as the community of users of these tools.It offers among others the following features: 

* Full support for IPv6 
* TCP and UDP network scanning 
* Detection Service 
* Operating system identification 
* Scan reverse DNS 
DNS Name brute force 
* Gathering information from DNS zone transfer 
* Geographic information about network addresses 
* Attack brute force authentication (against HTTP, FTP, IMAP and POP3) 
* Tracker Web applications, collect email addresses and adds structure to the model site 
* Integrated terminal for connection to the network and interact with services. 


N etifera Tutorial: 
We entered through our terminal the next row from the commands:

A continuous nuación visualize the ra Netife GUI and add a target to display the options: 


We set the t arget, in my case 200.29.159.11 

make right click on the IP address, visualize the options: 
  • Reverse DNS Lookup
  • Search by Country Address
  • Discover the TCP
  • Discover Servies UDP
  • Create network block xxxx/16
  • Create xxxx/24 network block.

As an example we select "Create netblock IP/16". 



Right-click Reverse DNS Lookup 

Select "Run"


Results: 


Use netifera to obtain information from the victim have, dns, cpanel, server, etc..
